200 Rangers Should Contend

The Ballpark at ArlingtonThe Texas Rangers finished the 2009 season in second place in the American League West with a record of 87-75. They were first runner up for a wild card spot. This is a very young but talented team that should improve even more in 2010. Often, all it takes for a team to only “almost make it” is a key injury to a producing player or a player or two not playing up to their potential.

 

The good news is that the Rangers are just two to three players away from the playoffs. They need a hot right handed baseball bat and another starting pitcher. They also need a little help in the bullpen, If that happens over the winter, things could get exciting in 2010 at The Ballpark in Arlington…
