Minute Maid ParkThe Houston Astros have been a good team in the past. Currently, they’re an aging team in search of new, young talent. With a record of 74-88, and a fifth place finish in the National League Central, their future just isn’t all that bright. They are going to need to restructure what they are doing.

They are either going to have to spend a whole lot of money, or quickly develop a farm system that will bring up major league talent. With the aging Astros players, they need to do both-and very quickly! 2009 was the second losing season in the past three years, and the fans are getting a little anxious. Houston has an exciting, relatively new ball park and could certainly use some equally exciting talent to play in it. The Astros’ baseball bats need to come to life once again…
